My application letter to be in the Cooking Class at school

 Dear Mrs Patea,

I would like to join Cooking Class because I enjoy working in a team. I like learning to cook.

When I am cooking, I have fun and I always help out a friend if they are stuck.

Cooking is a favorite subject of mine that I like because when I cook, I'm learning a new skill that I can improve on and that's my reason why I would like to join cooking.

I hope you accept my letter.

Yours sincerely

Reign

People began to build houses, roads, and big industries. Thereafter, there is a physical disturbance of the land and factories began to dump their chemical wastes in the bodies of water. Big factories flush down waste products in the water, and this is one of the major causes of ocean pollution.

Five Things You Can Do To Reduce Water Pollution.
  1. Do not pour fat from cooking or any other type of fat, oil, or grease down the sink.
  2. Do not dispose of household chemicals or cleaning agents down the toilet.
  3. Do not flush pills, liquid or powder medications or drugs down the drain.
  4. Avoid using the toilet as a wastebasket.
  5. Never use a garbage disposal as a bin.

Why is water pollution dangerous?
Microbial water pollution is a major problem in the developing world, with diseases such as typhoid fever being the primary cause of infant mortality. Organic matter and nutrients causes an increase and depletes oxygen from the water column.

To survive, we need healthy oceans. The ocean is the largest ecosystem on Earth, it is the planet's life support system. Oceans provide at least a sixth of the animal protein people eat. Living oceans carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and reduce climate change impacts.

Water fun day

Water fun day is mindful. GlenBrae had slipping slides, water bombs, racing and others. There was a time limit for each class and houses to swap activities. My fav was the pool at the front entrance. I learned to lead my team (Rata), The best team coming second in the last activity(charing).

our  energiser was 21. 21 is a game when everyone stands in a circle and each player counts up numbers 1 or 2 times

waitangi

Waitangi Waitangi is a locality in the Bay of Islands on the North Island of New Zealand. It is close to the town of Paihia, 60 kilometres north of Whangarei. Waitangi is a Māori-language name meaning weeping waters. Every year on 6 February, New Zealand marks the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840. In that year. The British Crown and over 500 Māori chiefs signed what is often considered to be New Zealand’s founding document. For some people, Waitangi Day is a holiday. Hobson and others stressed the Treaty’s benefits while playing down the effects of British sovereignty on rangatiratanga. The Treaty in Māori was deemed to convey the meaning of the English version, but there are important differences. Different understandings of the Treaty have long been the subject of debate(a formal discussion). From the 1970s especially, many Māori have called for the terms of the Treaty to be honoured. A safe and secure learning environment Enthusiastic, supportive, warm and caring teaching and support staff. This school is learning new things and new stuff. http://www.glenbrae.school.nz/index.
